Senior Product Development Manager (Real Assets)

Our client is an asset management company that have a multitude of assets AUM including equities, fixed income, investment solutions, multi-asset, and property investments.
They are looking to hire a Senior Product Development Manager to join their Real Assets team, this person will be responsible for the implementation of product development and management initiatives for funds within the Real Assets division of the business.
The role will mainly focus on finds that are based in Luxembourg, so experience of working within this geography would be favoured. The role will be covering a diverse variety of alternative asset classes and strategies including private debt, infrastructure and Real Estate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Product management – identifying and implementing product modifications, closures, mergers or other changes as a result of costumer, investment or regulatory requirements
- Dealing with ad-hoc queries from the rest of the business for the products assigned to you
- Must have a good over-site of legal and regulatory developments impacting the products that you are responsible for
- Strong and active input to the product governance process – post launch and annual fund reviews and reviewing fund documentation
- Responsibility for delivering product development initiatives inputting to the product development process from idea stage through to launch – this will include the full completion if required documentation, obtaining correct approvals and engaging with external and external teams and stakeholders
Key requirements:
- Experience with covering finds in Luxembourg
- Must have experience with asset classes such as: Private Debt, Infrastructure and Real Estate
- Must have a good working knowledge of regulatory requirements and potential compliance issues as well as TCF and conduct risk
- A good understanding of all key operational processed
- Past proven experience with the management and implementation of product development and change processes is essential
- Experience with people management would be desirable and a proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels is essential
- Relevant investment qualifications (CAIA, CISI, or IMC) are desirable
- Experience with other fund domiciles such as US, Canada, Australia or Ireland would be desirable
