Financial Systems Administrator – £28k – £36k – London
My client, a global Real Estate services provider to both the Commercial and Residential sector, is seeking a strong Systems Administrator to sit within the finance department. This role will play a pivotal part in the completion of multiple projects at varying stages of the project lifecycle so you’ll need to be able to work under pressure, work in a very structured and methodical way whilst being time conscious so you can meet strict deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
- You’ll be responsible for creating User IDs, restricting access and updating user manuals. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to troubleshoot security and access issues.
- This role will be reporting directly into the Financial Systems Manager so the ideal candidate will be forward thinking, have a passion for learning about emerging and developing technologies as well as use to vocalizing thoughts on potential changes which is being proposed.
- It’s imperative you have extensive knowledge using Tramps, Yardi or Horizon. It’s advantageous to have experience using Oracle but not mandatory. One of the key projects you’ll be working on is developing applications for a bespoke transactional finance system the company use so if you have some coding experience it’ll be of use.
- The ideal candidate will come from a financial background where you’ve been used to interacting with Stakeholders and thus have very good written and oral communication skills as well as articulate when it comes to communicating with colleagues at varying levels of seniority.
Key Person Specification:
- Ideally you should come from a financial background and be analytical, numerical and statistical in your approach to your work.
- Advance Excel skills such as creating V-Look Ups, Pivot tables etc, are imperative.
- A good team player who has the ability to integrate well with a team and be commanding of your colleagues when it comes to delegating work.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in technology and will want to get involved in implementation projects, working on developing new applications and upgrades.
