Our client is one of the leading up and coming infrastructure focused private equity groups. With an international presence, this company has invested heavily across the Asia region across a number of sectors including energy, power, utilities, transportation and telecommunications.

As the business continues to rapidly invest and grow, there is a need to bring on board a Vice President to play a leading role in the origination and execution of investments as well as portfolio management. This is an outstanding opportunity where you will have the opportunity to regularly invest and work on some of the largest deals in the region.

The Vice President will;

  • Play a key role in the full investment process, leading on the origination and execution of investments in Asia.
  • Be responsible for interacting with industry leaders, investment bankers and infrastructure developers to generate investment opportunities for the business.
  • Lead the execution of deals and due to the lean and flat structure, you will be hands on with conducting financial analysis, due diligence and preparing and presenting opportunities to the Investment Committee.
  • Work with senior management of portfolio companies to improve and develop the strategy and operations of the business.
  • Provide training to junior members of the business as and when necessary.

Interested candidates must;

  • Be currently sitting in a Vice President level position within either an infrastructure focused private equity or top-tier investment banking team.
  • Possess a strong deal track record with proven experience in leading on the full transaction process from origination through to execution.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the infrastructure market.
  • Demonstrate an exceptionally strong and all round technical skill set along with strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Be fluent in English and Mandarin due to the role regularly interacting with clients based in Greater China.
  • Candidates do not need to be currently based in Hong Kong and can be from another leading financial centre but they must be motivated about living and working in Hong Kong.
