Position: Principal Consultant – Project & Programme Management
Location: Central London
Salary: 65,000 – 75,000 per annum plus flexible benefits including contributory pension, private healthcare, annual bonus etc

Due to year on year double digit growth and in order to support further expansion, an opportunity has been created for a Principal Consultant to joining a market leading organisation.
The role of Principal Consultant will find you supporting an existing portfolio of project, programme and strategic assignments initially in the Rail transportation sector. Thus, it is essential that you possess a deep knowledge of this space. The role will find you based in prestigious Central London offices, with national and international travel.
The key responsibilities of this role will include;
-Leading and managing projects
-Developing professionally, of yourself and others in the team
-Developing business through internal networks, client relationships and originating and managing opportunities
-Managing and delivering advisory services, with this being seen as the primary focus. This could include:
-Transformational Change
-Design and implementation of governance arrangements
-Business case development
-Strategy development

To be successful in this role it is envisaged that you;
-Be degree educated (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
-Be Chartered with a relevant institute
-Hold recognised qualifications in project management (APM / Prince 2)
-Hold extensive Rail sector knowledge
-Have a demonstrable track record in business development
-Be able to demonstrate your experience in strategy focused roles
