Property Client Accountant

My client are a leading managing agent based in London’s West End, looking for a Client Accountant to manage a portfolio of primarily commercial properties, based in the UK and throughout the rest of the UK.

They are looking for a Client Accountant to join one of their specialised team of 5 Client Accountants, to take ownership of a prestigious portfolio of properties based primarily in West London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the timely update and continual maintenance of tenants records via the property management database
  • Preparing reports for clients on a weekly and monthly basis including reporting up to trial balance
  • Overseeing the entire service charge process, including preparing the service charge packs and drafting the year-end service charge accounts
  • Liaising with internal and external suppliers to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Dealing with quires from both clients and tenants as required quickly and efficiently

Personal Specification:

  • Existing knowledge of property management systems such as Qube, Tramps, Yardi, MRI is essential
  • An outgoing individual with exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong work ethic with drive and desire to build on their existing experience
  • Strong Excel knowledge including producing Pivot Table and V-lookups
