My client is a growing property management company based in East London working across an extensive portfolio of residential properties, with a smaller commercial portfolio arm, which they are looking to expand.

The successful applicant will be looking to build upon their current experience in property in a supportive and professional environment, while working on an expansive portfolio of primarily residential properties, with exposure to commercial units.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for chasing rents, rates and service charges of tenants via phone, email and letter
  • Ensuring the timely deposit of arrears and dent in order to adhering to strict deadlines
  • Elevating cases by setting up payment plans and liaising with bailiffs or solicitors
  • Liaising with and building strong relationships with clients and tenants
  • Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external team members
  • Frequently reporting in to senior members of the team to ensure processes are running smoothly
  • Working through a portfolio of aged debt to minimise outstanding payments
  • Compliling reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Personal Specification:

  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and on the phone
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
  • Prior knowledge of property management systems such as Qube, Tramps, Yardi, etc. essential
