Work within the cost management team for the capital projects advisory department of a leading top 10 global business. This small cost consultancy and advisory team sits within a larger corporate business and specialises in the commercial development sector, which includes: office, hotels, residential and retail projects. They are expanding their strategic, real estate consulting, cost management team to accommodate their pipe-line of upcoming projects and are looking to hire a QS background Associate Director to join their London HQ and manage and lead a team for the development of high-profile projects valued between £500,000 and £600 million for a number of select corporate clients.
Remuneration:
£55,000 – £65,000 + Bonus
Healthcare, Pension, additional benefits package (£3,000-£5,000)

Job Role;
This commercially based cost consultancy is focused on the delivery of high profile projects and strategic consulting with their clients on a number of short to medium term assignments. Their work is a mix of new tendered business and support of the wider goals of the real-estate group. This candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a close team of cost consultants but work across departments of a larger, leading international business.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will handle the cost management of these projects from pre contract estimates and tendering through to variations and final account settlement in addition to utilising your cost knowledge in high level advising of clients on potential developments or their current real-estate asset portfolio. You will need to be dynamic, handle projects autonomously and be comfortable working in a small close knit team. There is great opportunity for career progression and development as the team actively expands at all levels of this client focused corporate consultancy.
Requirements:
- MRICS Qualification
- Ability to manage a team and work independently to a professional standard
- Good experience within a number of industry sectors, ideally MEP services
- Good technical knowledge
- Excellent communication and management skills
- Ideally based in or near London
- Actively seeks out continuous self development, broadening knowledge and experience
