Title: Finance Manager
Location: London
Salary: £Competitive

The role will predominantly involve overseeing the property accounts for several assets. In addition the candidate will be expected to assist in improving systems, procedures and reporting across the team.

The company is under-going rapid expansion and as a result there is a drive to formalize processes and increase standardization across the board.

Working hours are from 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday.

The role will cover the following aspects:

Quarterly bank reportingOverseeing external property managers where applicableMonthly cash flow reportingMonthly development reportingMonthly service charge reporting and analysisAd hoc reporting as requiredFull financial management for relevant assets including overseeing accounts payable and credit controlEnsure systems are kept up to date and working effectively Setting and managing of controls and processes Improving and streamlining reportsOversee on-site accountant if applicableOverseeing annual service charge budget and audit process Liaising with offshore accountants

Involvement in year-end audit process (held offshore)

Skills/experience required:

4+ years finance experience within a property accounting environmentQualified accountant Yardi Yoyager/experience desirableExperience of implementation of new projects would be very advantageousSelf-starter who can build relationships in the office and with key personnel on siteService charge expertise requiredStrong character needed in order to obtain information from non-finance staff and also able to communicate effectively with non-accountants.

Ideal candidate would be sociable, positive and a good team-player who is willing to help out with non-finance functions when required.
