Title: Finance Manager
Location: London
Salary: £250-325 per day

The role will predominantly involve overseeing the property accounts for several assets. In addition you will be expected to assist in improving systems, procedures and reporting across the team.

The company is under-going rapid expansion and as a result there is a drive to formalise processes and increase standardisation across the board.

Working hours are from 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday.

The role will cover the following aspects:

  • Quarterly bank reporting
  • Overseeing external property managers where applicable
  • Monthly cash flow and development reporting
  • Monthly service charge reporting and analysis
  • Ad hoc reporting as required
  • Full financial management for relevant assets including overseeing accounts payable and credit control
  • Ensure systems are kept up-to-date and working effectively
  • Setting and managing of controls and processes
  • Improving and streamlining reports
  • Oversee on-site accountant if applicable
  • Overseeing annual service charge budget and audit process
  • Liaising with offshore accountants
  • Involvement in year-end audit process (held offshore)

Skills/experience required:

  • Good finance experience within a property accounting environment
  • Qualified accountant
  • Yardi Yoyager/experience desirable
  • Experience of implementation of new projects would be very advantageous
  • Self-starter who can build relationships in the office and with key personnel on site
  • Service charge expertise required
  • Strong character needed in order to obtain information from non-finance staff and also able to communicate effectively with non-accountants.
  • You will ideally be sociable, positive and a good team-player who is willing to help out with non-finance functions when required.
