Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: London/ Essex
 Remuneration: Commensurate with Experience

As a result of sustainable growth this Tier 1 Contractor is seeking to grow the commercial team of their Civil Engineering arm. Your first project will be a £100M+ NSIP with a projected timescale of 18 Months.

The company have a diverse portfolio and extensive order book. There is a commitment to staff development and retention, backed up by multiple awards and accreditations. The project in question has both land and marine aspects. The scale and length of the project will allow you to prove yourself and gain experience administering contracts through to completion.

Organisational and cultural fit are crucial. It is envisaged that you will be looking for a long-term career with the business. There is real scope for an ambitious individual to be mentored through their APC.

You will be reporting to an approachable, self-confessed ‘no-nonsense’ Managing QS with a passion for people and their development. Salaries are competitive, coupled with an extensive benefits package including the opportunity to buy and sell holiday.

Perhaps you’re a motivated QS at a smaller contractor, not being supported through to chartership. Maybe you’re from a consultancy or sub-contractor background, looking to take that step in to a main contractor. Transferable skills and desirable behaviours are more important than direct sector experience or being well-versed with a particular form of contract.
