A leading investment management platform is seeking a Retail Asset Manager to take responsibility for their in town and out of town portfolio, directly reporting to the Head of High Street Retail and the Head of Out of Town Retail.

Your role will involve setting and implementing a strategy for each asset within the portfolio, including refurbishment works. A secondary aspect of the role will be supporting the Head of Sector to identify new investments and produce appraisals- with the support of analysts in your team.

The key duties of this role include:

  • Providing advise and recommendations on all events within leases, including restructuring of leasing documentation; surrendering and re-granting of leases; improving and refurbishing property and, where appropriate, recommending to sell a client’s property holding
  • Ensuring the annual strategic plan for each asset aligns with the client’s fund strategy
  • Making investment recommendations for each asset based on forecast returns, analysis of past performance and risk profiles
  • Establishing and maintaining business relationships with third parties including property consultants, agents and advisors

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Retail Asset Manager to work for an established management firm with capital to spend, and carry out value add initiatives. The ideal candidate will have relevant and demonstrable experience in retail property- in either the Out of Town or High Street Sector.
