Cobalt are working with a global investment and development manager who are primarily backed by multiple foreign investors. They are looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their expanding finance team. The role is based in their new offices in London and will focus on producing financial accounts and management reports but also involve business partnering for one of their key UK assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing financial accounting, management reporting and business partnering support for a key UK development
  • Ensuring month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of management reports are produced on time and to a high standard
  • Review the accounts prepared by the property manager and third parties
  • Working alongside colleagues to prepare financial statements for audit, tax, budgeting and forecasting
  • Performing credit reviews for potential tenants and suppliers
  • Implementing new accounting procedures and processes while ensuring compliance
  • Providing financial project management support for new ventures and developments

Requirements:

  • ACCA, CIMA OR ACA qualified
  • A good knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS
  • Real Estate or Property experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with colleagues and other parties
