Senior Consultant – Cost Verification and Assurance
Location: London
Remuneration: basic salary of 50,000 – 60,000 with benefits to include 25 days annual leave, single private medical cover, income protection and matched contribution pension

Due to strategic and targeted growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Consultant to join a highly regarded International Consultancy.

The role will find you joining a small but established team who focus on providing a unique service across cost verification, contract compliance and systems review. They work with a variety of Infrastructure sector client’s across multiple sectors including major programmes, highways, rail and water.

The Capability Lead has exciting plans for the team and is looking to triple the head count in the next 2 years which will mean significant future opportunity for you.

The Business will be fully supportive of you and provide you with all the tools required to deliver in this role. This is a dynamic and challenging role, but one that will be incredibly rewarding due to the pleasant working environment, the team orientated approach, the ongoing investment in your development and the international spread of projects.

To be successful in this role, it is anticipated that you: -Be naturally inquisitive with an eye for detail -Have a track record in financial auditing or cost management -Have a strong academic record, ideally to degree level (or equivalent) -Ideally be either RICS or ACCA, although not essential -Have extensive knowledge and competence in the use of construction contracts, preferably NEC3

-Have knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques

Some typical duties: -Manage cost assurance assignments from inception to completion, ensuring delivery standards meet client expectations -Create project costings and budgets from clear objectives

-Managing finances across multiple projects to ensure profit and budgetary targets are met
