This National Construction company specializes in projects across the board, they are well established with an impressive portfolio of works.
With major projects currently underway and strong upcoming tenders we are searching for a pro active Senior Project Manager to start ASAP. Based in central Auckland, for the right candidate there is a generous salary and package on offer along with the ability to work with a professional and high performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of construction team members on site.
  • Co-ordination of trades and materials.
  • Ensure that all quality control and health and safety is adhered to at all times.
  • Providing up to date information for management on construction progress.
  • Managing the project programme and ensuring that all contractors and sub-contractors are working to time frames set.
  • Ensure that project notes and project meeting minutes are up to date and being actioned.

To be Considered for the role:

  • Have appropriate qualifications and experience in Project and Construction management.
  • Proven commercial construction delivery experience
  • Disciplined and self-motivated with a positive approach to work.
  • Customer focused and committed to providing a high quality of service.
  • Ability to lead, coach and motivate project teams.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to delegate tasks.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Effective and professional communicator.
  • Computer skills and keyboard accuracy.
