Senior Property Client Accountant

My client are an award winning property developer who are specialise in commercial property throughout the UK. They are currently in the final stages of completing one of their largest projects, and are still growing at an exponential rate.

This role would be responsible for working on one of their most prestigious portfolios, and working with the wider team on a portfolio of high-end commercial properties.

Job description:

  • Working to deadlines preparing and submitting rent statements & VAT reports
  • Undergoing the preparation of year end service charges up to trial balance
  • Ensuring that charges such as rent, service charge & insurance are raised as per lease
  • Raising and issuing demands in accordance to RICS guidelines
  • Updating and calculating lease extensions, changes of ownership and rent reviews
  • Setting up of new properties, leases and period accounts

Person specification:

  • Must have used a property management system such as Tramps, Qube, Yardi, Horizon, MUS etc.
  • Must have previous experience within property
  • Have a strong knowledge of service charges
  • Excel knowledge including previous experience with pivot table and V-lookups
