Project to Senior Quantity Surveyor

Work with a Kent based Project and Cost management consultancy as a Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor, leading the team in their current and upcoming portfolio of projects. This small to medium size consultancy specialises in the commercial, retail, residential and student housing sectors advising clients in the new build, fit out and refurbishment of projects valued between £250,000 and £25 million.

Remuneration:

£60,000 – £80,000 + Package

(Dependant on experience)

Job Role;

The successful Quantity Surveyor will handle the cost management of these projects from pre-contract estimates and tendering through to contract negotiations, variations and final account settlement. You will need to be dynamic, handle projects autonomously and be comfortable working with limited supervision, allowing you to inject your own initiative and creativity as the projects progress. There is great opportunity for career progression and development as the team actively expands at all levels and the position will offer an real opportunity to fast track to Assoc and director levels

Requirements:

  • MRICS Qualification (or experience equivalent)
  • Ability to work within a team and independently to a professional standard
  • Good experience within a number of industry sectors
  • Good technical knowledge
  • Excellent communication and management skills
  • Ideally based in or near London
  • Actively seeks out continuous self development, broadening knowledge and experience
