Cobalt is proud to partner with one of the Global Manufacturer of Medical Device. Due to business expanding in Singapore, they are looking to bring on board Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer.

In this role,

  • You will responsible for designing state-of-the-art precision instrument/medical device products
  • Generate and conceptualize new ideas for the innovative solution
  • Involve in design and development from prototype to Series production to realize the new solution
  • Conduct design review and iteration to optimize the new solution for cost, process, and quality

To be successful in this role,

  • You will have Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical R&D/manufacturing environment, focusing on product development
  • Experience in manufacturing technologies of metal and plastic materials (solid machining, extrusion, plastic injection moulding, pressure die casting, and rapid prototyping)
  • Working knowledge of Mechanical CAD, 3D modelling (preferably in Creo or IDEAS), geometric tolerancing and tolerance stack-up calculation is essential
