Get the juicy work in the family law field. Our client’s family law team is led by a partner who is considered a leader in the field and has a team that gets top quality work. This is a full service mid-tier city firm with a down to earth and social culture. The family team represents high net worth individuals in a range of relationship property work which includes drafting s21 contracting out agreements, advising on pre and post nuptial arrangements, litigating relationship property disputes, providing asset structuring advice and drafting/negotiating separation agreements.

As relationship property has a strong inter-relationship with trusts and estates this would ideally suit a mid or senior family lawyer with knowledge in that area also. You’ll have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in the relationship property/family law area for this role, a decent referral source and the ability to manage client relationships well.

Key to the role is having good drafting skills, a knowledge of the legislative framework around relationship property, trusts and/or estates area and the ability to navigate through the intricacies of this area.
