TRAINEE DESIGN MANAGER | DOCUMENT CONTROLLER, LONDON

My client a small to medium sized building contractor is looking for a Trainee Design Manager / Document Controller to join their team.

The role is a permanent position and site based and will involve working on an exciting multi-million pound hotel project.

Duties:

  • Providing technical and administrative support to the Design Manager and Team.
  • Filing and document control.
  • Liaising with external consultants and clients.
  • Copying and distributing project documentation.
  • General administrative duties as required.
  • Undertake simple CAD related tasks including drawing amendments.
  • Produce delivery programmes if required.

Requirements:

  • Proficient IT user, specifically MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Methodical and numerate.
  • Able to work from initiative.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Desirable experience of AutoCAD software.
  • Desirable: Construction/Architecture/Design Graduate.

In return for your time, enthusiasm, and skills you will receive a starting salary which is expected to range from £18,000 – £25,000 depending upon experience.
