Transactions Manager (VP)
A leading Real Estate Private Equity business, with operations across various pan-European jurisdictions, currently seek a Transaction Manager to join the business in London. This individual would be responsible for the execution of acquisition or divestment of individual assets or portfolios across select European submarkets, operating in close coordination and communication with other members of the transactions team, the centralised asset management team members as well as the regional asset management teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the HQ asset management and finance teams as well as the regional teams to source, underwrite, conduct due diligence and execute new acquisition, development and disposition projects.
- Managing the entire life cycle of a transaction with the support of in-house legal and finance functions as well as specialist external advisors.
- Working with regional heads to develop and recommend acquisition and development strategy for each region, including key project selection / prioritisation criteria.
- Working with regional teams to identify non-core assets suitable for disposition within selected regions.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- A track record of driving, building and completing a pipeline of transactions delivering value. End to end knowledge of the deal cycle and key steps involved running small, cross-functional teams with a focus on deal execution.
- Commercial and business acumen and negotiation experience.
- A second European language would be preferable.
