3D CAD Technician

An opportunity to work for a multi-disciplinary survey and design consultancy based in Manchester. The company have an excellent reputation in the industry and work on a number of high profile landmark buildings in London, the UK and abroad. They provide design, surveying, property consulting, party walls and boundary disputes as well as sunlight and daylight consultancy. This is an opportunity to work with the leading architects and developers providing analysis and reports that influence the overall design of the build.

Remuneration:

£24,000 – £28,000 (Dependant on experience)

Job role;

You will be responsible for creating accurate and realistic 3D AutoCAD models for schemes including sites and surrounding buildings. You will learn new skills gaining specialist training to use in-house analysis software. The role involves liaising with architects, surveyors and project managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing light related issues paying particular attention to window openings, room sizes and room sizes. A great opportunity to develop new skills, develop within a team and to be involved in major landmark schemes.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in 3D AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of the building industry.
  • 3D Studio Max, Photoshop and Revit would be beneficial.
  • An understanding of Rights of Light/Daylight and Sunlight.
