£30,000 – £35,000

Our client is an asset management company with a large portfolio of prestigious estates based in Green Park.

The successful candidate will be reporting into the Finance Director, processing transactions through bank accounts, purchase ledger responsibilities, quarterly VAT returns and monthly reporting.

In order to be able to work well in a small team, the successful candidate will need to have the following characteristics:* Property experience * Friendly, personable and hardworking* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

* An understanding of financial reporting and VAT

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Purchase ledger* Processing purchase invoices on a daily basis* Monthly reconciliation of creditors ledger

* Responding to queries relating to accounts payable

General accounting* Reconciling all bank accounts and petty cash monthly using SAGE* Processing payments * Assisting with the monthly reporting* Handling the quarterly VAT returns* Prepare Bank Reconciliations* Deal with the subcontractors, handling the payment and deductions* General Booking processing* Journal Posting* CIS Returns (HM Revenue & Customs filings) * Assisting with the preparation of management accounts

* Small entities management accounts
