Associate – cost verification and assurance
Location: Ideally based in London, but not essential
Remuneration: salary of 70,000 – 90,000 with benefits to include car/travel allowance, matched contribution pension, 27 days holiday, private medical
A unique opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join a leading Multi-National Consultancy. This role will find you working extremely closely with an established Capability Leader and together you will be responsible for driving growth across the service line.
As an Associate, your main responsibility will be to promote the service line working with both external and internal clients and assist in managing the wider team.
The service is very niche and focuses on cost verification and assurance, systems review and contract compliance. They have a demonstrable track record in delivering positive returns for their clients who span the full spectrum of the infrastructure sector including Rail, Aviation, Highways, Energy and Water.
There is massive and significant opportunity for this team with the business plan being to triple the current head count of ten in the next 24 months.
This opportunity would suit an entrepreneurial and ambitious Associate who knows how to grow a business. You do not necessarily need to be an expert in cost assurance, but this would be of benefit.
Responsibilities will include:-Lead and manage assignments from inception to completion, managing resources to ensure delivery standards meet client expectations-Create project costings and budgets from clear objectives-Manage finances across projects to ensure profit and budgetary targets are met and best value outcomes are achieved-Assure compliance with contracts in terms of project delivery parameters and scope of service-Manage relationships with clients-Internal and external development of the service line
-Management of key stakeholders and their expectations through regular communications
To be successful in this role it is anticipated that:-You hold relevant infrastructure sector experience of delivering projects across multiple market sectors-You hold demonstrable experience in growing a service line-Have extensive knowledge of the NEC3 form of contract-Ideally have knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques-Have experience in leading teams across complex programmes
-You be entrepreneurial in spirit and be a prolific relationship builder
