An established cost/project and building surveying firm seek a capable Associate/Director to lead their Building Surveying offering in Birmingham.

This is a permanent opportunity to join an award-winning practice, working on an exciting range of property & infrastructure projects across the West Midlands.

Acting as a focal point for the team, you will provide a range of professional & project based services. Working closely with other Directors, you will be a key management figure, aiding the Assistant Building surveyors through their APC training. You will also be required to undertake Business Development for new business acros the Midlands.

Key duties will include:

  • Dilapidations
  • Party Wall Matters
  • Pre-Acquisition Surveys
  • Contract Administration
  • Project Management

Key requirements:

  • MRICS
  • Prior Building surveying experience in a Consultancy environment
  • Experience in training & management of Assistant Building surveyors
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prior Business development experience would be advantageous
