Our client is the Real Estate investment vehicle of various HNW families. The business currently outsources its accounting, however due to the rapid growth of the business, it is necessary to develop its own in house accounting function.

The Senior Finance Manager will initially report to the head of operations but the intention is to grow the role into its own function, reporting to the Group MD. The candidate should be ACA qualified from within one of the top six accounting firms and have relevant experience of technical accounting and fund or real estate accounting.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, driven finance professional to join a business that is well funded, growing fast and looking for it future Finance Director.

Responsibilities:

Corporate:

  • Prepare and manage the corporate accounting function
  • Creating Management Accounts
  • Preparing budgets, Develop FPA process
  • Tax returns and invoicing
  • Preparing quarterly and annual accounts for the investment manager

Fund:

  • Reviewing and approving the Fund’s NAV calculation
  • Primary contact for our Fund administrator
  • Managing the external audit and developing internal audit processes

Fund Subsidiaries:

  • Engage and manage the administrators to produce timely quarterly management accounts
  • Review quarterly accounts and compare, with asset management, actuals against forecast
  • Support the acquisition team with financial DD queries
  • Ability to work across different jurisdiction and knowledge of IFRS accounting standards

Skills and experience:

  • Qualified chartered accountant
  • Experience in Investment Funds or Real Estate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Articulate
