Senior Planner
Leeds- £28,000 – £38,000 + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Leeds for a Senior Planner to join a leading planning consultancy with offices across the UK.

This is an ideal opportunity for a chartered town planner seeking the opportunity to progress their career and assume greater responsibility and a key role within one of the UK’s leading consultancies. You will be involved in all aspects of the planning process and will act as the main point of contact on small to medium-scale projects and developments from the Leeds office.

The Senior Planner will be delivering outstanding planning advice on a wide range of development projects and issues across sectors that include residential, commercial, renewable energy and mixed-use developments. Managing a range of projects you will be tasked with advising clients throughout the entire planning process, making recommendations on strategies and programmes for managing planning and local plan processes and negotiating on behalf of clients. A prestigious and varied client list includes house builders, major retailers, local authorities and blue-chip companies.

Ideally, you will have previous private sector experience and will have contributed to a varied range of projects and developments. The Senior Planner will need to be a chartered member of the RTPI with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience within the public as well as private sector will prove beneficial to the Senior Planner.
