Cobalt is proud to partner with one of the Global Manufacturer of optical precision and scientific instruments. Due to business expanding in Singapore, they are looking to bring on board Senior Quality Engineer (Production Quality Engineering).

In this role,

  • You will provide Quality Engineering support for Manufacturing Operations and resolving Quality issues with Process Engineers using standardized investigation tools.
  • Investigate manufacturing product quality and compliance issues (e.g. non-conformances, audit observations, customer complaints) for production processes based on engineering principles and problem-solving methodologies
  • Drive changes, improvements and implementing quality control strategies
  • Drive Quality and Productivity improvement by participating in lean and continuous improvement initiatives and projects

To be successful in this role,

  • You will have Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the assembly operations/engineering environment
  • Good knowledge of various statistical control method and a strong background in QMS 9001.
  • Familiar with ISO13485, USFDA QSR/cGMP (21 CFR Part 820) and ISO14971 for medical devices will be added advantage
  • Knowledgeable in lean and investigation tools such as 8D and fishbone diagram
  • Prior experience in Process & Equipment Validation, Developing FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis are highly preferred.
