Position: Survey Manager
Location: London
Remuneration: 42,000 – 50,000 per annum with strong benefits including 26 days holiday, dc pension, private medical cover, company car or car allowance

Due to a number of significant project wins, a leading privately-owned Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking to strengthen and streamline it’s Surveying capabilities by attracting a Survey Manager specialising in rail.

This position will find you responsible as the head of a team, supporting across a number of projects and working closely with Project Managers. You will develop innovative solutions to achieve 300-500 successful surveys annually, including some complex possessions.

What you’ll be doing?-Managing the survey function of a large rail framework. There will be an anticipated 300-500 surveys annually, the surveying team will need coordinating as well as interfacing with the client.

-Have line management responsibility for other members of the Surveying Team and act as a Client Manager in liaison with Clients, throughout the Engineering Life Cycle of the project

What you’ll need?-Be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering/Land Surveying or a similar discipline.-Hold demonstrable experience in developing effective solutions in a project environment

-Be competent in using Word, Excel and other software requirements, to include programming
